Once a year is good enough for you, right?

Compared to my last journal entry, things are going a lot better. We've moved to a larger apartment, got new, less horrible jobs, and a cat.

I'm also going back to school tomorrow. I'm so rusty, I'm going to get my ass kicked in linear algebra. Other than that, not much new. Just trying to survive, been living with my girlfriend for over a year now, meaning I'm technically married (well, common-law).

Anyways, I'm deciding whether I want to renew my sub to DA and come back here for a while, maybe get back in to my photography, or if I just want to go blow that same money on renewing my World of Warcraft subscription... maybe I'll just wait till the newest expansion set comes out.

Up early

First snow of the year, and lots of things have changed since my last journal update. I'm arguably still alive, though fighting the flu and working full time. School was a no go this semester with my current financial situation, although in a few months things might start to lighten up for me.

I've moved out from my sister's place and am now living with my girlfriend in what could only be called one fifth of a house with a private entrance. I didn't realize how much stuff two people had. We need a bigger place and we've only been here for a few months.

I'm going to try and get back in to the swing of things here, I might check out the forums later today if I have time, I'm working closing shifts lately and the lack of sleep isn't really helping me at all. I'm not even sure why I'm still up, I gave my girlfriend a ride to work, I should have come back home and gone to bed. Maybe that's what I'll do now.

If anybody wants to update me on what's happened in the last 9 months feel free.

Not here

  • Mood: Amused
  • Listening to: The Tragically Hip
  • Reading: Snow Crash - Neal Stephenson
  • Watching: Colbert Report
Better places to be, better things to be doing. I need to get my shit in line before I have time to spend on a site that has been pretty much horridly boring for the last 2 months. I'm not taking anything down, and I'm not clearing out my friends list, although I am disabling journal and deviation update notices so I don't have a flooded inbox when/if I come back.

It's been fun, folks. You know where to find me if you need me.

Concert Rules

Journal Entry: Fri Jan 19, 2007, 11:20 PM
  • Mood: Amused
  • Listening to: The Tragically Hip
  • Reading: Snow Crash - Neal Stephenson
  • Watching: Colbert Report
Concert Rules:

:bulletgreen: If you're the tallest guy by half a foot for 10 meters in every direction in a non-smoking facility, don't smoke.
:bulletgreen: Keep your shirt on
:bulletgreen: Don't hug the security guards
:bulletgreen: Two hands = two drinks, not 4
:bulletgreen: Crowd surfing is for people on the arena floor, not people in the stands
:bulletgreen: Rock out
:bulletgreen: Stay for the entire encore, they always play the best song last

There will be (a) picture(s) from the Tragically Hip concert tomorrow hopefully. Yes, that's right, freaking pictures. Apparently The Hip believe that if the fans pay for their concert ticket, they should get the entire concert and be able to do with it whatever they want.

Merry Christmas every one. :#1:

I'm moving my ass off campus finally, to go live in a dank basement where a computer nerd like myself belongs. (Cheap rent, shut up :P)

I'm also going to be on the road for the next 2 and a half weeks, I'm going home to Nipawin for a while then I'm going to be in Brandon for new years. If you're going to be anywhere near myself, give me a shout. I won't be on MSN much over the break, but I'll be by every once in a while to check my notes.

No guarantees I'll have the internet immediately when I get back to Regina, but I'll still have intermittent access on my sisters computer till I get myself hooked up.

 Goodbye to all, and a merry Christmas to everyone!
